Warm care
For everyone
Maternity care for families of every background
We provide the maternity week for families in Nijmegen and the surrounding area.
Dutch, Turkish, Armenian, Moroccan and Syrian families, and families who have only just arrived here and don't yet know their way around. Where you're from or what language you speak at home doesn't change the care you receive from us.
Clear care in fourteen languages
Together, our maternity carers speak fourteen languages. That means we can explain things in a language that feels familiar, and coordinate care clearly with you, the midwife and other care providers involved. That collaboration brings peace of mind and makes sure everyone knows what matters.
Extra care in vulnerable situations
We're also there in vulnerable situations, for example for families in an asylum seekers' centre or a mother-and-child home. It's precisely there that we work closely with the support workers and care providers involved, with extra attention for calm, safety and trust.
Care that looks beyond
If a family has little room to buy everything themselves, we look together at what's needed and, wherever we can, share practical baby and maternity items.
Tailored to your family
Care tailored to you means we adapt to your family. To what you eat, to who comes through your door, to your faith, and to how you want things done.
